SC Gifted and Talented Grade 2 Assessment: Testing Dates and Important Information
The South Carolina Gifted and Talented Grade 2 Assessment is a statewide assessment used to identify students for district Gifted and Talented programs. Students are identified for this program by demonstrating high performance ability or potential in academic and/or artistic areas. Although the primary purpose of these assessments is to identify students for the gifted and talented programs, the student results can be useful to teachers as they examine their instructional practices. Please make note of the following testing dates and make every effort to have your student present and on time and ready to do their best. We ask that you please refrain from scheduling appointments during designated testing times.
- Monday, October 6 - CogAT Verbal
- Tuesday, October 7- CogAT Quantitative
- Wednesday, October 8 - CogAT Nonverbal
- Thursday, October 16 - Iowa Reading
- Friday, October 17- Iowa Math
